The International Film Festival of Marrakech, presided by John Malkovich, will pay tribute to France during its tenth edition, which will take place from December 3rd to December 11th.

This year, the competition includes 15 films focused on the new and emerging talents in worldwide cinema with 10 debut feature films and 3 sophomore feature films selected, altogether representing 15 different nationalities.

Over the years we’ve built up a stock of carpets and rugs that we somehow can’t fit into the house…so we’ve had the brainwave of selling them!

This one’s a real beauty – small but perfectly formed at 70cm x 46cm. As you can see, there’s a bit of an animal theme going on; it’s a real work of art, and gorgeously handwoven. It’s mainly creamy-white, with an array of colours and motifs woven in.

It could make a really nice wall-hanging, and would look fantastic framed behind glass.

Ours is the highest terrace in this part of town because our building was a watchtower for the Gendarmerie Forestiere. These days you are more likely to see seagulls than marauding bandits from this spectacular vantage point, but it is a great place to watch the sunset and stare out over the medina rooftops
